Love the new Eminem single. Thank God ’cause there has been no rap that I have even remotely enjoyed. Rap music just seems like candy to me these days – a sugary treat for kids. Eminem, even though trying to be sugary is edgy. he is the savant saviour of rap. I laughed hard at his reference to “glutius maximus”. I wanted to name my son Maximus but my wife said everyone would call him “Glutius”, and I pushed back. Thanks to Eminim I am over Maximus.
My good friend Alex Golimbu was at the 2009 Barrett Jackson Palm Beach Auto Auction last week, where Ford was one of the sponsors. This is the sticker for a 2009 Mustang Shelby GT 500 Coupe – with an engine rated at 500 hp and 488 lb.-ft of torque. Basically as Alex puts it, “a rocket”.
But, it has a gas guzzling engine and so the EPA Fuel Economy Estimate rating for this car are quite high. This is a photo of how Ford disguised it….shame and oil!
